Swim Practice for the Jr High kids @ 4:30

I just wanted to make a comment on the time. My daughter rides the bus home and is the first one off and she doesn't get home until at earliest 4:20 - 4:30 so by the time she get to the pool its probably going to be real close to 5:00 so she wil miss her practice. Just to emphasize she is the 1st one off the bus. So I am curious if she is missing her practice time then what? Also what about all the oher kids that ride the bus that get off after her I think this time should be looked atfor the intermediate kids especially the ones that are bus riders and also have parents that work until 5:00

I agree, really is pretty tight for our bus riders.

My daughter has missed 2 days of practice because she is unable to get to the pool before 5:00. Is there any deviation from this schedule time so that she can get her practice in? This is really difficult like I said

The board discussed this for quite awhile trying to figure out the best way to work out the Deer Park late schedule. Coach Kim works in Deer Park and they have changed the school hours so Kim has trouble getting to practice by 4:30. We did not want the little ones getting in the pool without a head coach, so we opted for this schedule. We realized the 6th graders would be effected, but we had to make a decision. We are telling parents that their child can come a few minutes late to the 4:30 practice, or join the 6:30 practice with the older kids. Coach Kim will make accommodations for them there. We actually have 5th graders already attending that practice too. We know this is not perfect, but we did the best we could. Well I appreciate it I guess I will have to look into the later practice I suppose. It is just to difficult to make it to the earlier practice.
