| Ribbon Writer | Records times on ribbons from entry cards. These volunteers must stay until the end of the meet until the last ribbon is written. |
| Timer | Times swimmers using provided digital stop watches and records times. There are three timers per lane. |
| Runner | Collects entry cards (and DQ’s) from timers and delivers to the Chief Scorer. |
| Tent Person | Stickers are given out and numbers written on swimmers arm before start of meet. Maintains order in “tent area” and calls swimmers to the ready area. |
| Set-Up and Clean Up | Aids in equipment set up before and after HOME meets. We ask that everyone help clean up after meets. |
| Team Representative | Serves as the liaison between officials and team members/parents. |
| Announcer | Calls swimmers for each event and advertises sponsors. |
| Chief Scorer | Determines official time from entry cards and completes official score sheet. |
| Chief Timer | Starts 2 extra watches for each event and supplies this watch to any timer having a problem. |
| Referee | The final authority in all decisions and rule interpretations. |
| Starter | Calls swimmers to blocks, starts each event, determines start disqualifications. |
| Stroke & Turn Judge | Judges and determines disqualification of stroke techniques (by League standards). |
| Clerk of Course | Determines eligibility of both teams’ swimmers; handles all scratches and substitutions; runs team computer at meet. |
