El Lago Dorados Swim Team
 End of Year Party The El Lago Dorados will be holding their year end swim team party on Sunday, August 23rd from 4-7 at the El Lago City Pool. Trophies, awards, 10 year awards, reserve/champ medals, pictures, ribbons and JDRF prizes will be given out. All family members are welcome. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served. We ask that you please bring a dish to share as follows by last name: A-P Side Dish, Q-Z Dessert. Don’t forget your chairs. If you have any questions please let us know. Clear Lake Forest Meet Our next meet is Saturday June 20th at Clear Lake Forest. Please be there by 7:00 to check in. Volunteer assignments are now posted. Notify Joanna Bordelon if you will not be able to fulfill your volunteer assignment, and please email the Clerks to let them know if your swimmer will not be there. Dickinson Meet Congratulations again! We won the Dickinson meet too. Thanks again to all the volunteers that stuck it out in the heat. Timber Cove Meet WE WON THE TIMBERCOVE MEET! Great job Dorado swimmers and excellent job by all the parents who volunteered with set-up, concessions, running the meet (timers, clerks, ready area, announcers, etc…) and equipment tear down. Many swimmers made champ times and improved their personal race times. Keep it up; we have two meets to go and then those that qualify can go on to the Champ meet. Practice Times for the summer Starting Monday we switch to the second practice schedule. Look for your swimmers age and then you will see the correct practice time. The Monday practice will remain in the afternoon, but the rest of the week will change to morning practices. There are only two more weeks of practice for the regular season. We hardi planked the pump house, changed all of the floaters in the lane ropes,and cleaned out and reorganized the storage container. okay my friend and i wanted to join the swim team.we dont know if it is to late to sign up. if it is not you can contact us at 281.532.1601.(amanda) or 281.326.1683.(gretchen) we would be in the 13-18 age group,we didnt have any info on the date to sign up, and would love too join. if you could contact us it would be greatly appreciated!
